VinPerfect is a growing organization of individuals dedicated to delivering to customers what they have always deserved: A wine closures they can rely on. Founded by Napa/Sonoma winemaker Tim Keller, our team shares this common purpose and a deep-seated belief that it ts the quality of the wine that matters!

Tim Keller, Founder/CEO

Tim is a UC Davis trained winemaker with 15 years of winemaking experience in the California wine industry. He has served as a winemaker in the Stag’s Leap District of Napa and Sonoma’s Russian River Valley, among others. In addition to leading the VinPerfect team, he serves as a winemaking consultant for Alta Ridge Vineyards. Tim invented the VinPerfect screwcap during his MBA studies at UC Davis in 2007, and led his team to victory in the 2008 Big Bang! business plan competition. Tim graduated with his MBA that same year.

Collin Casper, Founder/COO

Collin brings over a decade of experience in sales, marketing and client services to VinPerfect. Joining up with Tim Keller in 2010, Collin has established best-practices for VinPerfect finance and operations. He also directs the execution of the on-going brand strategy developed around the VinPerfect SmartCap™. Prior to joining the VinPerfect team, Collin was the Director of Sales & Hospitality at Staglin Family Vineyard. He received his MBA from UC Davis in 2008 with an emphasis in marketing and strategic management of organizations.

Craig Hawkyard, Vice President of Sales

Craig is a closure industry veteran, with over 15 years of sales experience in the wine industry. Joining in August 2012, Craig rounds out the executive team, bringing extensive sales tactics and knowledge about the closure industry in the United States and abroad. Prior to joining, Craig was the General Manager at California Capsules, where he built a successful sales organization in under two years, distributing screwcaps and capsules from various International suppliers to the United States.

John Rasmusson, CFO

John Rasmusson joined VinPerfect in September 2011 and brings with him over 30 years experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical and internet fields. In addition, John has worked for several start-up and pre-IPO companies, both in the United States and in Europe. Prior to joining VinPerfect he held the position of VP and CFO of Evalve Inc, a medical device start up. He previously held the position of CFO, EVP of Finance and Administration for BioSpace, a provider of web based software and internet solutions for life science companies, VP and CFO of The X-Stream Network, a pan-European ISP and telco start up, and senior financial positions with General Surgical Innovations, Connective Therapeutics and Envision Surgical Systems. He also spent 10 years with Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, a division of Guidant Corporation. John holds a BSBA from the University of Phoenix.

Lowell Gibbs, Director of Business Development

Lowell joined VinPerfect in 2014 to focus on sales and strategic corporate initiatives. His corporate finance, sales, and client relationship management skills complement and strengthen the executive team. Prior to joining VinPerfect, Lowell had spent most of his career in investment management with Goldman Sachs & Co. and Mellon Private Asset management. He started his career at Salomon Brothers' investment banking unit and then spent several years doing non-profit work and political fundraising. Lowell received his BA from Cornell University.
